Patient Advocacy
At ANR Savings, we are committed to providing you with
Quality, Value and Convenience.
Please remember that our ANR Savings Prescription and Health Services Discount Card is not insurance, and is not intended to replace any type of health insurance.
The card is a supplement program to help you save money, and is intended primarily for the under-insured or uninsured. Individuals and Families who have health insurance can still use many of the services on the card though. For example, if your co-pay for a hospital or doctor bill is higher than $250 you may submit it to MCA for negotiation!
The services provided by the card can save you a substantial amount of money each year if used properly.
In order to make the services convenient to use, ANR not only provides this website but also a toll free help line: 719.359.7881. When calling the help line, please have a pen and paper in hand as it is a recorded message.
ANR Savings also provides a toll free help desk for any questions regarding the prescription discounts: 888-670-0039. All of our services are reasonably priced and/or discounted for ANR Savings Members.
Since there has been some confusion and debate regarding Medical Discount Cards, we have supplied several websites that may answer questions that you have.
An informed consumer is our best member because:
You understand the difference between our Discount Card and Health Insurance.
You have read and educated yourself about how to properly use each of the services, and have called our toll free line and left a message or emailed us at JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING with any unanswered questions. (We try to call or return emails within 72 hours).
You check back into this website often to look for new discounts and services, use the pharmacy drug cost lookup (to access the best prices day-by-day), and follow links to new information on how to care for yourself and your wallet!

How to Save Money on Prescription Medications
Step 1:
Your doctor cares about your health! Ask your doctor if you can use generic medication. Generic medications are usually less expensive than brand names and tend to have greater discounted rates. If you are concerned that you cannot afford your prescription, tell your doctor. Your doctor may have samples or coupons that will further help you. If you take a medication for more than 60 days, request a mail order prescription from your doctor—you’ll save more money.
Step 2:
Search medication prices before going to the pharmacy. Use the pharmacy locator to find the pharmacy with the best discount using the ANR Rx Drug and Health Services Discount Card.
Step 3:
Check the $4 dollar drug list at www.walmart.com. If you have a medication on the Wal-Mart list, most other stores will honor the four dollar price. Always keep in mind that the medications on this list are generics. So, if you need more than one medication, and only one is on the four dollar list, go to the pharmacy that offers the best discount on your other medication(s) and ask them to honor the four dollar list price for your other medication…and you’ll receive the best price on all medications.
Step 4:
Use coupons. Here’s a great site that offers coupons and savings on prescription and non-prescription drugs, and other health related products. There’s no data collection and the coupons are free: www.drugstore.com.
Step 5:
If you are on regular medication and need payment assistance try contacting your local medical society for help. They usually can direct you to community programs that offer assistance. To find your community’s medical society try searching the name of your county plus "medical society" in your internet browser (for example, ANR Savings is located in Douglas County, so anyone at our office would search on “Douglas County Medical Society”).
